Sharpest knife I've ever used March 30, 2010 Regular Old Guy (California) This knife is so sharp it's amazing. Ever try to cut a fresh tomato with your best knife and your best technique and squished the tomato before you sliced it? With this knife you'll never have that problem again. It just cuts the tomato skin without you having to press much at all and it never squishes it. Yes, it's sharp on everything else too, it's just that the tomato is the most outstanding example.
Too fragile March 20, 2010 R. Wagner I broke two before giving up and switching to Forschner, which I like better. Kyocera is no sharper than quality steel. The brochure mentions shaving with it, so I tried, without success.

This knife is sharp and light. It slices thru veggies so smoothly.
I LOVE IT!!!
I would recomend to everyone.
It's great! March 3, 2009 J. Yick (USA) I purchased this knife over a month and use it everyday. It works great. I love this knife, it cuts meat jut like you are cutting a piece of Tufu. It's ideal for cutting sushi. In fact, because of its sharpness ,I cut my nail twice. Overall, I enjoy to have it.
Love this knife January 23, 2009 A. Doty 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Everyone should own a ceramic knife if not several. It manages to always stay sharp and is my go to knife everyday. I will caution you that it is rather brittle, and cannot withstand being dropped on hard surfaces. I have had one of these knives for several years, and have broken the very tip of it off, but otherwise it has held up very well (I'm very careful with it). I don't, however, but it in the dishwasher so maybe that has helped. I love this product and suggest anyone to try it for themselves.
