5 out of 5 stars Awesome hook, DON'T USE THE ROPE!   April 22, 2010
Wesley L. Mcclellan (Walton, KS)
This "ninja hook" is a great product. superior construction and strong metal, easily holds my weight and much much more. The rope, on the other hand, would not safely support someone half my weight. If you intend to use this product as it was meant (for climbing, rappelling, or other weight bearing operations where your well being is on the line) do yourself a favor and go pick up some proper climbing/rappelling rope. It'll cost a little more than the cheap stuff that comes with this, but then again it'll cost your family even more for a funeral. Enjoy!

1 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for...   March 12, 2010

I ordered this for my little brother and, within a few hours of use, it broke. I should have expected this for such a low price. And after trying to contact the seller multiple times to return it, they never contacted back. I do not recommend this seller or any of their products.

4 out of 5 stars I bought a grappling hook? Weird.   May 3, 2009

Perfect for my use, which is clearing branches, leaves, etc. from a stream to prevent a natural dam from forming. Not a toy, but I wouldn't try to use it for serious home-invasion work or stealth assassinations unless I weighed less than ... ohh ... 100 pounds.
