| Customer Reviews: DONT BUY THIS KNIFE April 15, 2009 kenneth richar (boca raton, florida United States) I am new to the knife world and don't know much about them. I didn't expect much from this knife because of the price. When I got the knife it was packaged horribly and had a few dents from its trip to my house. After using the knife for a few days something came loose inside and the knife no longer flips open. The knife also wiggles like nobodies business. The knife mettle has casing that goes around the steel on the handle and the area closer to the blade is loose. All that really pissed me off because the blade is actually very sharp and the knife is light enough to be a day to day knife. In short spend a few extra bucks and get a better knife. Gerber makes some very nice knives and there not too much more than this one and their worth it and wont break on you.
A good knife with a solid design March 31, 2009 Brandon F. Williams (Norton, KS USA) I figure I'll just make this short and sweet, and here's a few points for the positive. However as far as I can tell there's really no negative points on the knife so far, but if I find any I'll put in a edit or 2.
1. Has a very solid and firm design, nothing shakes, rattles, or is loose. For the price listed it's surprising how solid it feels.
2. The weight is really good, it doesn't feel cheap or has cheap plastic parts.
3. "Spring Assisted" need I say more? It doesn't take very much force or strength to spring the blade. Also when unlocking and folding the blade it holds and doesn't need a lock or pressure switch to keep it folded. I've had this for 3 days on my belt and no accidental flips yet so it's safe to say its a good secure knife.
4. Sharpness of the blade, I would give this a basic rating. It's sharp and cuts very well, and thats about it.
So in conclusion for the price you pay it's really worth the money.
Great for the price March 11, 2009 Ryan Mahraj Dont kid youreself, when you buy a knife you dont get the best quality product. but this knife stood out to me it was designed wll and easilt oped with pring assist. Now there are flaws, the blade is hard to sharpen but is parcially serraded. The speing assist is fast and easy but you need to watch your fingers.Overall this is a great product and a steal for the price! BUY!!!
